Key becomes optional for SE and SI drives
The drives of the SE and SI series with design SG50- (①) and SG63 (②) have so far been partly supplied with flat keys of Type B (③). Due to variations in the design of door shafts (④), the supplied key could only be used in a few cases.
To reduce material waste and act more sustainably, keys will no longer be supplied as standard in the future.
All common Type B keys will remain available as an optional accessory.
From garage box to established name
April 17, 2024 marked the official opening of RDA's new facility in Hobro, Denmark. A milestone resulting from years of commitment, vision and cooperation. New EU Regulation (2023/826): what does this mean for you?
Since May 9, 2025, the new EU Ecodesign Directive (EU) 2023/826 has been in effect. This directive sets stricter requirements for energy consumption. For example, it mandates a maximum standby consumption of 0.8 watts or 2 watts (e.g., with an integrated WLAN module) for electric drives.
