From garage box to established name
On April 17, 2024, RDA Scandinavia officially marked the opening of our new, functional facility in Hobro, Denmark. This expansion is a significant milestone that strengthens our position and provides us with even better opportunities to serve our customers.
Our journey began small, driven by a vision to deliver exceptional solutions within the gate industry. Christian Sørensen, with his deep experience, took the first steps, and through a strong partnership with Corné Ribbers from RDA in the Netherlands, the business quickly grew—even during challenging times like the COVID-19 pandemic.
Continued growth created a need to expand the team, and we are pleased to have welcomed Dianne. With her solid administrative background and focus on customer service, Dianne is a key player in ensuring an efficient and seamless experience for our customers. She now handles order processing, customer service, and warehouse management, contributing to our strong commitment to providing the best support.

New EU Regulation (2023/826): what does this mean for you?
Since May 9, 2025, the new EU Ecodesign Directive (EU) 2023/826 has been in effect. This directive sets stricter requirements for energy consumption. For example, it mandates a maximum standby consumption of 0.8 watts or 2 watts (e.g., with an integrated WLAN module) for electric drives.
From Intern to Technician: Lennart is Ready for the Real Work!
Last Friday, our intern Lennart Kerkhoff stood at the workbench for the very last time. Not only has he now completed his internship, but he has also graduated from his Level 4 Mechanical Engineering program at Hoornbeeck College in Amersfoort.
