R+T fair in Stuttgart opens its doors!
We've had to wait a long time, but we can finally look forward to in-person meetings again at R+T 2024 in Stuttgart. From February 19 to 23, many producers will show new developments and there will be plenty of networking again.

Door drives with frequency controller have been one of GfA's standard products for years. They enable high door opening and closing speeds and smooth starting and braking. This is efficient and shortens waiting times. In addition, it protects the door mechanism. Until now, our drives have always had the frequency converter mounted directly on the electric motor. We now also offer a solution with a separate frequency converter. This provides new flexibility when installing door drives. We call this solution FX. As usual, there is a wide choice of different torques and speeds.
We present an innovative solution that combines door control with a wallbox for charging electric vehicles. This significantly reduces the previously high installation costs of a wallbox. This is achieved by supplying power to the wallbox via the door control, so no additional power supply is required. A custom wiring harness for plug-and-play installation is included, so even those with no electrical knowledge can install it. Integrated charging management ensures that the maximum charging capacity of 11 kW is not exceeded at installations that do not require a permit. This solution has been nominated for the Innovation Award at the R+T trade fair.
Our proven door control, type: TS 971, will soon be available with internet options as TS 971+ with gateway. This enables easy and automatic transfer of door control data to the cloud without the need for on-site presence. Remote diagnosis with warning messages, maintenance planning and even assisted repairs become possible. A new internet platform serves as a central management area for the IoT solution.
The door control is often not placed directly at the door because there is little space. In many cases it is also sufficient to initiate opening or closing via, for example, a remote control or an external control such as a code keypad. In the latter case, however, the door control display is often missed because it is used, for example, to display status messages. We now have a solution for this: an external up-stop-down control with an integrated display.
