Modern sectional doors are becoming faster and more powerful all the time. To keep pace with this trend, GfA and RDA are introducing an upgraded version of the trusted FI drive: the ELEKTROMAT SE 14.100 FI ② (see image above).

This new version is based on the SE 14.80 FI and offers higher speeds without affecting the dimensions of the operators.

Higher speeds, flexibly adjustable

The SE 14.100 FI offers increased speeds:

• from 80 rpm to 100 rpm in the OPEN direction ③
• from 30 rpm  to 60 rpm in the CLOSE direction ③ *

This allows the sectional door to open and close more quickly, ensuring a smoother flow of traffic and reducing waiting times.

As usual, the speed can be conveniently set via the programming of the GfA door control (④).  It is not mandatory to use the higher speeds: if the programming remains unchanged, the drive’s behaviour will be the same as that of the SE 14.80 FI.

*The increased closing speed is only possible when using contactless safety devices and is generally applicable to doors taller than 2.5 metres.

Models and compatibility

As before, the drive is available with:

• Hollow shaft 25,4 mm
• Hollow shaft 31,75 mm
• Hand crank (NHK) ⑤
• Rapid hand chain operator (SK) ⑥
• Gear release (ER) ⑦

The dimensions of the drive remain the same. The part numbers for the drives and sets also remain unchanged. This makes it easy to switch to the new system within existing projects and specifications.

Launch from mid-April 2026 

The ELEKTROMAT SE 14.100 FI will be gradually introduced by RDA, GfA’s exclusive partner in the Benelux, from mid-April 2026.
